The protein requirement depends mainly on your body weight. A simple technique to calculate the amount required (in grams/day) is to multiply your weight (in kg) by 0.8. Then you can divide this amount into 3 meals. For example, a 70 kg woman should eat 56 grams/day of protein.
A little tip to eat more lean protein: go for legumes or other vegetable proteins!
